NO PLEXUS RELEASES VISUAL ALBUM
FILMED ENTIRELY WITH RACING DRONES
GENRE-QUEER MUSIC ON A MOUNTAIN, A CRATER, AND A BONSAI FARM
Electronic music duo No Plexus celebrates the release of their visual album MANICURISM with a film screening and A/V performances by some of the Netherland’s most exciting upcoming electronic musicians. The party will be co-presented by Rewire in NDSM Treehouse’s brand new pavilion in Amsterdam on August 19th 2022 and coincides with the film’s digital release.
No Plexus have set their music to the tensions between nature's brutal powers and our need to tame, control, and ultimately manicure it. In this trilogy of twenty-five minutes, unnatural forms in nature meet angular melodies and rhythms. Filmed with an arsenal of racing drones, the visual album features otherworldly locations that have been drastically transformed by human intervention: a man-made crater, a levitating mountain and a meticulously planted bonsai farm.
